       一种可湿一热双重固化的单组分MS密封胶有机硅组合物，以硅烷封端的聚二甲基硅氧烷与轻基封端的聚二甲基甲基乙烯基(硅氧烷与聚硅氧烷)为基础聚合物，加人填料和增塑剂，配合相应的交联剂、偶联剂、抑制剂及催化剂，在湿气和加热双重作用下固化而成。组合物不仅可以依靠湿气固化MS密封胶，也可以加热固化，满足不同工艺要求需要。
       一种单组分脱醇型室温硫化的MS密封胶，目的在于提出一种单组分脱醇型室温硫化的MS密封胶，使用烷氧基封端的聚二甲基硅氧烷，并配合1,2一双(三甲氧基硅基)乙烯和/或1,2一双(三乙氧基硅基)乙烯作为交联剂，提高了固化速度，并提高了MS密封胶的储存稳定性。
       目前，国内外研究方向主要有三方面，一是使固化时间可控，由于靠水汽固化，因而存在着完全固化时间长的问题，通过筛选合适的交联剂和扩链剂，调整配方的比例，同时使用不含锡的有机催化剂以达到深层次的固化，缩短固化时间。二是MS密封胶本身是一种表面惰性的弹性体，勃接力较差;一些车灯MS密封胶在使用时的可挥发凝结成分偏高;硅橡胶浅色产品易黄变;拉伸强度与拉断伸长率不高，这就需要改善组成配方，增加胶勃剂和固化促进剂、交联剂。三是车灯雾化值的降低，雾化值表征了可凝结在灯壳内表面的可凝物含量，直接影响到车灯的透光率。引起车灯起雾的原因是MS密封胶在车灯使用过程中被高温加热释放了游离的低分子有机硅环体造成的，通过对降低原料中的低分子环体的含量，达到了抑制车灯起雾的效果。MS密封胶不会对亲水性防雾涂层产生影响，避免水汽在车灯外壳上凝结水珠影响汽车的安全，且密封效果好。
