聚合物材料在使用与储存过程中,会因受到各种环境因素(紫外线、热、湿、微生物等)与工况因素(磁场、电场等)而出现使用性能下降的情况,该过程称之为老化。当环氧树脂丁基防水嵌缝胶被应用于修补裂缝时,它将与路面结构长期共同承担阳光、雨水、荷载等作用。随着使用时间的增长,其性能将会不可避免的下降,从而无法继续起到密封裂缝的效果。因此,抗老化性能对于丁基防水嵌缝胶至关重要。用于裂缝修补的环氧丁基防水嵌缝胶的老化过程一般是热氧老化,在热与氧的作用下,环氧树脂主要发生。碳上的弱键断裂,生成大量自由基,发生自由基链式反应,从而使分子链结构遭到破坏,进而导致环氧树脂丁基防水嵌缝胶的拉伸强度、断裂伸长率、抗剪强度等性能指标的降低。利用室内加速老化试验模拟了水性环氧沥青丁基防水嵌缝胶(WER-SBS-EA)长期老化的过程,并对老化后的抗剪强度性能进行测试,结果如图9所示,该丁基防水嵌缝胶的剪切强度随老化时间的增长而不断降低,且在相同老化时间下,温度越高,剪切强度越低。
填人裂缝中的丁基防水嵌缝胶,在交通荷载和环境因素作用下,承受着各种各样的应力应变,为了使得丁基防水嵌缝胶与裂缝壁之间形成良好的整体,丁基防水嵌缝胶必须有足够的茹结性能。当茹结强度不足时,丁基防水嵌缝胶与裂缝壁之间会出现茹结失效的情况。黍占结失效是指拉伸应力超过了丁基防水嵌缝胶与裂缝壁的茹结强度,从而使得丁基防水嵌缝胶从裂缝壁间脱落。目前常用的茹结性能测试方法除了室内试验(如直接拉伸抗拉强度试验或界面剪切强度试验)外,还可选择通过表面能理论来进行计算茹附功的方式判断丁基防水嵌缝胶的茹结性能。表面能理论主要用于计算两相材料之间的茹附力,固体表面的表面自由能通常无法直接测量,一般采用接触角法来进行间接测量。给出了界面张力与接触角关系的方程式(1):其中y、为液体表面能,y为固体表面能,y5,为固一液界面能,B为固一液接触角。将材料总表面能视为非极性力和极性力之和,其计算公式如式(2)其中y为表面能,为表面能的色散分量,y为表面能的极性分量。根据Fowkes理论模型,黍占附功的计算公式针对传统道路丁基防水嵌缝胶界面茹结失效的问题,研制了一种路面环氧丁基防水嵌缝胶(ERPS)。利用表面能理论计算了其茹附功,并对该丁基防水嵌缝胶的茹结性能进行试验测试,结果显示,ERPS的茹结强度在各温度下均优于常见的路用丁基防水嵌缝胶,能够很好的应用于道路修补工作。研究了丁基防水嵌缝胶的茹结机理,利用分子动力学软件建立了丁基防水嵌缝胶与沥青和骨料的茹结模型(如图10所示),模拟计算了骨料与沥青的表面能以及沥青与骨料和丁基防水嵌缝胶之间的茹附功,并与拉拔试验所得的剥离强度进行对比,如图所示,发现剥离强度在一定程度上验证了茹附功的计算结果。http://www.sdyuantai.com/
