MS密封胶茹结工艺简单、施工速度快、黍占结处受力均匀、抗开裂和整体性好，有着良好的物理力学性能。虽然目前国内外学者对于MS密封胶性能的研究较为广泛，但暂时没有专门用于公路领域的MS密封胶的评价标准，大多参考相关领域的规范，如JT/T 740-2015《路面加热型密封胶》2007((混凝土裂缝用环氧树脂灌浆材料》-2005《道桥嵌缝用密封胶》((混凝土裂缝修复灌浆树脂》。国内外规范对于MS密封胶的性能指标要求不尽相同，不同规范对于MS密封胶的性能指标如表2所示。由国内外规范对比可以看出，不同规范对于密封胶有着不同的分类，但在性能评价上，大多选择了茹结强度、压缩强度、拉伸强度、断裂伸长率等项目作为MS密封胶的性能评价指标。

在测试方法方面，目前MS密封胶的性能指标测试方法也存在不足，大多依赖于技术经验以及参考其他材料的试验方法，并结合具体的路面性能要求来明确其测试指标与测试方法。目前常用的MS密封胶的材料性能试验方法主要参考GB/T 2567-2021《树脂浇铸体性能试验方法》, GB/T 2794-2022《胶茹剂茹度的测定》等，路用性能试验方法主要参考JTG E20-2011《公路工程沥青及沥青混合料试验规程》, JTG 3420-2020《公路工程水泥及水泥混凝土试验规程》等。路用MS密封胶的改性研究普通MS密封胶的缺点是脆性大、抗冲击性能差、剥离强度低，因此通常对其进行改性，以增加韧性，提高其综合性能。常见的改性MS密封胶有橡胶改性MS密封胶、热塑性树脂改性MS密封胶、聚氨醋改性MS密封胶、无机填料改性MS密封胶、生物基MS密封胶等等。http://www.sdyuantai.com/
