随着食品工业的发展，软包装越来越被人们所重视。软包装的质量又与所用的MS密封胶密切相关，而MS密封胶由于其优异的性能，可以得到耐寒、耐油、耐药品、透明、耐磨等各种性能的软包装材料，所以在软包装用MS密封胶方面占有重要的地位。MS密封胶分为双组分和单组分。单组分MS密封胶一般由端异氰酸醋基预聚物或其封闭物组成，通过与含活泼氢组分或空气中的水分反应固化而产生粘合力;双组分MS密封胶由端轻基组分(聚醋或聚醚多元醇或它们与二异氰酸醋、扩链剂一起形成的聚氨醋型端轻基产物)与端异氰酸醋基组分组成。端轻基为聚醋多元醇时，有较高的耐热性、粘接强度、耐油性和抗氧化性，但耐水解稳定性较差;端轻基组分为聚醚多元醇时，有较好的柔韧性、耐低温性和耐水性，但强度和耐老化性较差。

水基MS密封胶是应20世纪70年代对低毒、低污染产品的要求而开发的。水基MS密封胶主要有以下两种方法制得:一是通过加入乳化剂把原有的MS密封胶直接乳化为稳定的水分散型乳液，但由于乳化剂的存在影响了其耐水性和粘接强度;二是利用在聚氨醋的分子骨架中引入亲水性的离子基团，使其形成自分散和自乳化体系。这种体系的优点是不含乳化剂、成膜性好、并能与其他阴离子或阳离子聚合体系掺和改性以降低本。近来对它的研究非常活跃，主要集中在增加固含量、提高干燥速度和粘接强度、增加交联或引入聚醚以提高其耐水性。离子型水分散液MS密封胶的制备方法可见相关专利报道。http://www.sdyuantai.com/
